Nothing dramatic… and yet.

A large covered deck over the water, with bay views, hammocks, lounge chairs, swings...
The perfect place to read, chat, dream, or simply do nothing.
Every morning: breakfast served at your table, relaxed atmosphere, unlimited coffee.
All day: a self-serve trust bar — help yourself, write it down, and enjoy.
Right next to it: the guest kitchen, convenient and cozy — always with that same sea view.
Connection with nature
All around: starfish, rays… and sometimes, dolphins.
Here, you swim, sunbathe, unwind.
And each morning, boats come pick you up right at the dock to explore the islands.
When the sun goes down
The sky ignites, the light shifts, the bay becomes still.

Meet Loulou
Here is Loulou with her best friend Marjorie.
Luiza — or Loulou, for those who know her well — was born in Costa Rica in 2019.
I went to pick her up at the border. She was only two months old…
Just imagine how beautiful she was.
At first, she might seem a little distant.
After all, she’s met thousands of travelers in her life.
But give her a little time…
After a few days, you’ll be surprised to see her recognize you,
come toward you, and welcome you with unexpected warmth.
Behind her shyness hides a playful, expressive soul —
and a sweetness that leaves no one untouched.

Meet Jaja
In 2020, a vet technician calls me: a litter of orphaned kittens has just been found.
Jaja arrives, tiny, curled up in the palm of a hand.
She grows up here with Loulou and BarrBra — now completely inseparable.
Jaja is pure love. If she chooses you, she’ll cuddle up, follow you everywhere…
and might just sneak into your bed by morning.
(Officially, that’s not allowed!)
Meet pipa- gordida gonzalez
A few days later, we learn she’s been hit by a car.
She’s fighting to survive. We rush to help her.
Three months of care, patience, and courage…
And one day, the light returns to her eyes.
Today, she walks proudly on all four legs.
She’s part of our family.
And if you meet her gaze, you’ll understand why we love her so much.
Meet Johnny B. Good
He’s in rough shape: mange, wounds, almost no fur left… He’s truly heartbreaking to see.
We start feeding him, little by little.
And every day, he comes back.
After a few days, we look at each other and say:
“If we don’t do something, one morning… he just won’t come back.”
So we reach out to Papagato, a local animal rescue organization.
We explain that we can care for him, feed him, give him shelter…
but we can’t afford medical treatment.
They agree to help. Medical care, sterilization… thank you, Papagato.
He stays hidden in the bodega for several weeks.
We give him time.
Today, he lives like a little king, lounging all around the house, finally enjoying life.
You’ll often find him napping in random corners.
And yes… he absolutely loves belly rubs.
