Close them when you leave to avoid water entering in case of rain.

Yes, there’s WiFi—but this isn’t a work-from-your-laptop kind of place. It’s where mornings start slow, conversations last longer, and the outside world can wait.

If you arrive earlier in Bocas and want to make the most of your first day,
we will be happy to take care of your luggage at the reception starting at 9:30 AM. Before that time, we are busy in the kitchen preparing breakfast and will not be available. 🍽️
Check-in is between 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM. ⏰
We dedicate our full attention to preparing the house, and access to our facilities is unfortunately not possible before that time.

BREAKFAST FOR EARLY RISERS:
Before 8 AM, we serve cornflakes with milk, which you will find in the guest fridge.
To respect those around us, please speak softly, as people are sleeping in the cabins next to the kitchen.

MOSQUITO REPELLENT
Based on my experience, OFF DEEP WOODS is the best product for chitras and is available in most supermarkets. For those who prefer natural alternatives, several stores in town offer different options, but don’t expect too much from them.

If chitra bites are bothering you, here are a few tips:
Apply 75% alcohol.
Use anti-itch creams available at the pharmacy.
Take antihistamines quickly; itching usually stops within an hour.

WATER
💧 UNLIMITED FRESH WATER FOUNTAIN
Water is precious in the Caribbean.
Turn off the tap between soaping and rinsing in the shower.
You can use tap water for
rinsing your mouth and cooking,
but it is not recommended for drinking.

Please do not throw toilet paper in the toilet.
Use the designated bin instead.
⚠️ In case of a toilet blockage due to paper or other sanitary items, a $25 fee will be applied.
