PRACTICAL INFORMATION TO WELCOME VOLUNTEERS



BarrBra BnB is a relaxed, peaceful, and harmonious place. We open the house at 7 AM and close it at 10 PM. In the meantime, I want to ensure that we all work together to maintain a good coexistence between departing and arriving guests, as well as among ourselves. Therefore, it is important that everyone respects the list of assigned tasks and maintains a positive attitude.

Breakfast is included in your stay.

You are, of course, welcome to join us for free when we cook dinner and supper. We are carnivores and only prepare one menu per meal.

Laundry service after 5 PM.

For 5 hours of work per day, 5 days a week.
No days off on Saturday and Sunday.

LOGIC



The facilities are reserved for clients.
Hammocks, lounge chairs, etc. are available for your use. Please use them responsibly to avoid inconveniencing other clients.
The space belongs to our clients.


For the respect of the clients, do not use the shower until the clients of room #7 have risen.
Do not use the guest kitchen until the clients of room 5 and 6 have risen.


Tasks that may cause disturbance to our guests, such as noise or dirt, should not begin before 10 am and must be completed by 3 pm.

The consumption or sale of drugs is strictly prohibited.
It is also prohibited to consume alcohol that has been purchased outside the hotel.

You are not allowed to invite someone to sleep at the hotel. However, you can invite your friends to visit with my permission, as long as they adhere to the same rules as our guests regarding alcohol and telephone usage, etc.

At BarrBra BnB, we highly value pets as an integral part of our establishment, and we kindly request that you treat them with respect and care

Here, we warmly welcome our guests with a friendly smile.

When guests arrive, please open the door and guide them to the hotel entrance.

Kindly ask them to drop off their bags.

Invite them to sit in the lounge with the Wi-Fi board.

We will take it from there.

LANTERNES



The lanterns open and close AUTOMATICALLY.
Program them as follows:
They will turn on every day at the time the programming was set and will turn off 4 hours later, and this will last for two days.
After two days, you need to charge them for 3 hours and reprogram at 6:30 am.

BarrBra BnB is a relaxed, peaceful, and harmonious place.

We open the house at 7 am and close it at 10 pm .

During this time, we ask everyone to collaborate to ensure good coexistence between guests and among ourselves.


GENERAL RULES
Respect the assigned tasks and maintain a positive attitude.
Breakfast included in the stay. Dinner and supper offered when we cook.
Working hours: 5 hours per day, 5 days per week.
Rest day: No day off on Saturday and Sunday .
Accommodation: Mezzanine offered.


LOGIC & RULES OF LIVING
The facilities are reserved for guests (hammocks, lounge chairs, etc.).
Task hours: Between 7:30 am and 11 am so we do not to disturb guests.
No consumption or sale of drugs.
Outside beverages: Pour canned beer into a glass if bought outside.
Visitors : Friends can visit with permission but cannot sleep at the hotel.
Pets: Feed and take them out for their potty in the morning and evening, please pick up the poo.


GUEST WELCOME
Volunteer = Integral part of BarrBra BnB.**
Welcome guests with a smile. Open the door, guide them to the entrance,

and invite them to drop their bags and sit in the lounge.
The team will take over.


DAILY TASKS
IN THE MORNING

Set up and serve breakfast.
Help clean the dining room and wash the dishes.


IN THE EVENING
Close the hotel between 9-10 pm. Close and lock all windows, turn off fans and extra lights, close front door and double doors from kitchen, put speaker and phone away.


ENTRANCE CLEANING
Terrace: Sweep, clean the entrance, cushions, tables, and empty the ashtray.
Keep the bar and the large table clean.


BOTTLE BOXES & GARBAGE ROOM
Sort empty and full bottles.
Keep the waste room clean and sort the recycling.


PLANTS
Clean and water the plants, prune dead leaves.


FILLING AND MANAGING BINS
Check and refill the water fountain and beer fridge.
Change bins as needed (kitchen, terrace).
Empty the organic waste bin.


HUMMINGBIRD FEEDER
Fill the feeders with the following recipe: 3 tablespoons of brown sugar for 1 liter of warm water.

MONDAY

Clean the shop, library, and shelves.
TUESDAY
Clean window frames, doors, outlets, and modems.
WEDNESDAY
Clean the water fountain and minibar cabinet.
THURSDAY
Deep clean the kitchens (guests' and volunteers').
FRIDAY
Clean the waste and recycling room.
SATURDAY
Clean the flower pots and change the cushion covers in the lounge. Tidy up the indoor storage room.
SUNDAY
Clean guest toilets and replace hand towels (toilets and shower).
Clean the clients' bathrooms: change the trash bags, scrub the toilet, clean the sink and the mirror.


LAUNDRY
General laundry : Wash filters and don't leave laundry in the machine overnight.
Guest laundry: Wash, dry, and fold guests' clothes.
BarrBra laundry: Wash bath towels and napkins.
Volunteers' laundry : Available after 6 pm.


GUEST BATHROOM
Refill toilet paper and soap dispenser.
Clean toilets, sink, mirror, and change the bins.
Renew hand towels.
Sweep and mop the floor.


GUEST KITCHEN
Clean the kitchen daily.
The kitchen must remain clean at all times.
Put 3 new clean towels each day.
When guests leave: clean baskets and the fridge.


MUSIC
Music plays from 8 am to 10 pm and should be Latin/lounge style.
Make sure the phone and speaker stay charged and are not used for personal purposes.
